Glow Gold September

Glow Gold at Holyrood

Glow Gold September is an awareness campaign which was started in 2016 by a group of parents and grandparents of children with cancer. GOKWC works alongside Glow Gold, in fact the Director of GOKWC is one of the admins of the Campaign. Glow Gold has lobbied MSPs at Holyrood for the past 2 years, and will hopefully extend that to Westminster in 2018.

Each September, Glow Gold asks public buildings and landmarks to light up gold to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer. This year, 2018, they have a new project, called

 'A Garden of Gold'.

They would like public parks and gardens create a garden space with yellow and gold flowers that will be in bloom during September. This is something anyone can do, whether you have a large garden, a window box or a single flower pot. If you take a photo of your blooms, it will feature on Glow Gold's campaign page.
